Among the prizes of the Vertical Race, scheduled for Saturday 10 December 2016, the precious local wine Sciacchetr\u00e0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\"146-3\"<\/a>As preparation continues for the 1st edition of the Sciacchetrail Vertical Race, an uphill race through the illuminated nativity of Manarola scheduled for 10 December 2016, the gift bag for the 100 participants is taking shape. Included in the gift bag:<\/p>\n

\nOn occassion of the holiday of the “Immacolata”, Sciacchetrail Vertical Race will provide many reasons to visit Manarola, wrapped in a festive atmosphere starting from 8 December<\/strong>\u00a0with the inauguration of\u00a0\u00a0Mario Andreoli’s Illuminated Nativity,\u00a0<\/strong>and events for young and old continuing through the weekend\u00a0with sport, food, wine, music and solidarity.<\/p>\n

inauguration of Mario Andreoli\u2019s illuminated nativity with fireworks show and gastronomy stands on the San Lorenzo Church square \u201cLe Ragazze di Sori\u201d: organized by ACLI Manarola<\/strong> in collaboration with the Cinque Terre National Park<\/strong>, the Municipality of Riomaggiore<\/strong> and the Association FA.DI.VI \u201cFamiglie Disabili Vidoni and Others<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Friday 9 December<\/b><\/p>\n

3:30 pm – \u00a0San Lorenzo Church square<\/em><\/p>\n

meeting point for the MINI MANA Trail<\/strong>, a non-competitive running race through the village of Manarola with commemorative t-shirt and post-race snack on the square awaiting the lighting of the Illuminated Nativity. \u00a0Open to all kids and parents, free with reservation max. 50 participants. Saturday 10 December<\/strong>
\n10:00 am – Manarola harbour<\/em><\/p>\n

Shoe Test on the race course organized by Cinque Terre Trekking<\/strong>. The Outdoor brands Scarpa and La Sportiva will be present with their collections of Trail Running shoes to test on the trails of the Sciacchetrail Vertical Race.<\/p>\n

3:00 pm\u00a0<\/i> – Sciacchetrail Vertical Race<\/strong> start
\n(from 12:00 noon -2:30 pm, race bib and gift bag pick-up, bag deposit)<\/p>\n

Music on the San Lorenzo Church square with Radio Sgnappa<\/strong> and at the Manarola Harbour with Dj Gary Van Goonter<\/strong> and Dj Steven<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

SCIACCHETRAIL VERTICAL Race,\u00a0<\/strong>is a UISP running race, a semi-nocturnal time trial in ascent, organized by ASD Cinque Terre and Cinque Terre Trekking thanks to the partnership with Consorzio In Manarola, Fondazione Manarola, UISP and CAI La Spezia and with the patronage of the Region of Liguria, Cinque Terre National Park, and the Municipality of Riomaggiore.<\/p>\n

A part of the registration fee for the SCIACCHETRAIL VERTICAL RACE<\/strong> will be donated by\u00a0ASD Cinque Terre<\/strong> to the\u00a0Manarola Foundation <\/strong>to be used for the\u00a0<\/strong>repair and maintenance of the dry stone walls of this extraordinary terraced amphitheater.<\/p>\n
